Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy is the use of essential oils to bring about wellbeing.  I  offer aromatherapy holistic massages and can also offer aromatherapy facials.  

Treatments offered:

• Aroma Hand Massage - holistic massage on your hands, arms and wrists with aromatherapy hand products
• Aroma Facial  - relaxing facial massage that works on your sinuses and facial muscles incorporating  aromatherapy products
•  Back/neck/shoulders - massage paying attention to your back, neck and shoulders using essential oils
• Full  body aromatherapy massage (ladies only)
• ADD ON:  Aromatherapy Foot Soak

There are two main ways in which essential oils are absorbed into the body:

1. Through the skin, when diluted with a massage carrier oil.

2. Through inhalation via the nose where they are absorbed through lungs into the bloodstream.  It is believed that the oils stimulate the Limbic System of the brain. The limbic system controls emotions and influences the nervous system and hormones. Inhalation of essential oils transmits messages to the limbic system which affects stress levels, memory and emotional states.  This can affect wellbeing.
