Booking an Appointment
Please contact me and we can discuss which therapy is suitable for you over the telephone. I offer both daytime and evening appointments to suit busy people. For a mobile visit I will bring all the necessary equipment with me (it may take a little extra time to unload and reload this). The treatment will be more beneficial for you if you remain fairly quiet and we are not interrupted during the session. It is also easier for me to work as I am able to concentrate on the treatment and thus it will be more effective. Please be on time as I have other appointments to keep and will need to finish at the time agreed, either to clear the room or prepare for my next client.
Payment
I accept payment via cash or you can beforehand via Paypal (I am unable to accept cheques). Please note, payment for each treatment is required after the initial consultation (if treatment can proceed - if it cannot no charge will be incurred) and before treatment commences. The prices are located here, along with a brief description (for longer descriptions please see the pages for each therapy). I do not offer credit. You will be issued with a receipt upon payment.
Time Keeping and Lateness
It’s best if you arrive 5 minutes before your appointment (but not earlier as I hire the room with specific times). If you are going to be late please call my number asap (01243 576016). Please don’t be late - if you arrive late then you can still have your appointment but it will stop at the time previously agreed e.g. if you were booked for 2 p.m and you arrive at 2.15 pm then your 1 hour appointment will still finish at 3 p.m as I book the room with specific times and often I have other appointments or others use the room after me. Please remember that you do need to allow more than an hour for your initial appointment - they take another 10-15 minutes because of the consultation. On my mobile visits I need time to set up before and take down my equipment after - please remember this as I can’t rush out of the door without taking it.
Cancellation, No Show or Rearranging Appointments
Please note, I require 48 hours of notice on cancellation or re-arrangement of your scheduled appointment (cancellations cost me time and money as I still have to pay for the room hire, miss out other clients and so on so I hope you can do this as a basic courtesy). If you cancel your appointment you will be required to please pay £12. If you cancel using a gift voucher then your voucher will be considered VOID. Exceptions at my discretion will be made for medical emergencies of yourself or a close family member.
If I cancel an appointment I will endeavour to do so with 24 hours of notice. You will either be offered another appointment or be able to cancel with a refund of any monies that have been incurred. At times I may be late due to unforeseen circumstances e.g. traffic delays on mobile visits but will aim to contact you as soon as is possible to inform you or rearrange your treatment session.
During your Session
Please note that during your massage or other therapy session, your voice (either via verbal or non-verbal communication) and view is important. Please let me know at all times if you need me to adjust the pressure or add another layer of sheet on to keep you warmer. Your comfort is very important and I want you to feel that you can say when you need me to adjust things for you.
