Due to the current covid situation I have disabled my self booking process.  

Before booking an in-person appointment please make sure you have read my Covid19 page.

 

1. BOOK HEALTH CONSULTATION or ONLINE COACHING/THERAPY

 

New Clients:
  • start with a New Client Initial Reflexology/Massage Therapy Consultation (by phone)

  • or New Client Health Coaching Discovery session (by Zoom)

At the initial consultation I will ask about:

  • your medical and lifestyle history

  • any other treatment and medication you are having or have had

  • your reason for therapy treatment or coaching including any problems you are experiencing and when they started so I can plan your care

  • for massage therapy clients I may ask to do a Zoom call with you in order to allow me to see your range of movement for particular muscles (due to covid I need to minimise in person time) and to give me a thorough understanding of any restrictions in the soft tissue.

The initial consultation is used in order to give you a safe and effective treatment, to rule out any contraindications, plus it ensures I can make a treatment or coaching plan.  

If there are no concerns and treatment may go ahead then we will book in your New Client appointment.  

GP advice: If you have certain medical conditions or are taking medication, you may need to seek advice from your GP surgery before we proceed with hands-on treatment. You may need to ask your GP whether there is any reason for treatment not to go ahead or to seek clarification and I will ask you to sign that you have done this.  This is in order to keep you safe.  For example, if you are on medication for blood clotting I need to ensure that the treatment I give will not put you at risk.  If you are undergoing treatment with a specialist e.g. for cancer then I will ask that you seek their advice too.  You will need to sign that you have sought this advice on your consultation form.

Allergies: please notify me of any allergies you may have. 

If there are no concerns and treatment may go ahead then we will book in your New Client Massage Therapy  or Reflexology first appointment.  ​​

Health Coaching and Online  - after your free conversation we can book in your Discovery coaching session or online appointment.

2. SIGN AND COMPLETE A Covid19 SCREENING FORM (for in person appointments)

  • you will need to complete a pre-screening form the day before your hands on appointment.

  • you will be asked to complete a consent form which will come through via my Fresha booking system

  • hands on time is 50 minutes

If you have not received the form through Fresha then you will be asked to respond before entering the premises that you meet the covid screening criteria.

3. APPOINTMENTS 

New clients will have their first appointment booked in during the initial consultation. 

In Person 
  • Please arrive on time for your appointment - if you arrive early please wait in the carpark until your appointment time as I need to ensure a gap between clients and will be cleaning and disinfecting.

  • I will come to the door to greet you (with covid19 the reception area is out of use) at your allocated time.

  • You will be asked to put on your mask before entering (please note these are mandatory for close contact appointments unless you have an exemption)

  • You will also be asked to wash your hands either with hand gel or in the washroom.

  • You are able to use the WC if you need to upon arrival.

  • Please make sure you have eaten enough not to feel hungry but not to feel uncomfortable during your appointment and it is best to not eat a big meal nor drink alcohol immediately before or after!

  • Turn off your mobile phone please or have it on silent mode so you can fully focus

  • Please wear loose and comfortable clothing if possible so you can easily get changed

Online/Remote
  • Please ensure you look for the email with the Zoom contact and time details on. 

  • Connect and call at the designated time.

  • If you have any difficulties connecting at your appointment time please call me by phone on +44 7423 019459

 

After your appointment you will be given aftercare advice and we will book in future treatment sessions as necessary.

Clinic Policies and Terms & Conditions

Payment

Payment of treatment fees are due on booking before or immediately at the time of your session.  

I accept payment by:

  • Cash (please bring exact amount in an envelope as I do not carry change)

  • direct transfer to bank account

  • pre-agreed Paypal invoice

  • Fresha payment

You will be issued with a receipt.  

Booked consecutively means booked and paid up front.  Please note I do not offer credit.

Cancellations

Please note, for all other cancellations I require a minimum of 48 hours of notice.  Cancellations cost me time and money as I still  have to pay for the room hire and other costs and it affects my service to other clients. 

If you cancel or fail to attend your appointment with less than 48 hours then a 50% fee will be made to cover my room hire costs.  

If you cancel using a gift voucher then your voucher will be considered VOID. 

Exceptions at my discretion will be made for illness and medical emergencies of yourself or a dependent family member.

Covid

Please read my covid19 guidance. Do not attend your appointment if you have any symptoms, are unwell or have come into contact with the infection.  If you are unwell before your appointment please contact me as early as possible by text or phone. Please ensure that you have received a reply from me confirming I have received your message. If you do not hear back from me please call again as I may not have received your message.  

No cancellation fee will be incurred for covid19 related cancellations.

Time Keeping and Lateness

If you are going to be late please call 07423 019459 asap (on clinic days I do not have access to email).  

Please note I have other appointments to keep and will need to finish at the time agreed, either to for my next client or to clear the room for another therapist. If you arrive late then you can still have your appointment but it will stop at the time previously agreed e.g. if you were booked for 2 p.m - 3pm and you arrive at 2.15 pm then your appointment will still finish at 3 p.m. You will be required to pay for the full time of the original booking.  

 

My Right to Cancel

I reserve my right to cancel an appointment.  I will endeavour to do so with 24 hours of notice but on occasion e.g. due to a medical emergency or illness may need to cancel at short notice and in particular with covid19 if I feel unwell I will need to cancel. A new appointment will be offered if possible and if not then a refund will be given for that particular appointment if payment has already been received. At times I may be late due to unforeseen circumstances but will aim to contact you as soon as is possible to inform you or rearrange your treatment session.

Please note:

* I have the right to refuse to treat a client

* My scope of practice is as a certified and qualified holistic complementary therapist and health coach 

* I am not able to diagnose nor prescribe and am not a qualified medical practitioner nor a registered dietician

* I massage male clients through personal referrals only

* any inappropriate behaviour by enquirers and/or clients will result in the treatment being ceased and my policy is to refer to the police if necessary.  Complementary therapists deserve to be treated in accordance with their training and any abusive or unacceptable behaviour will not be tolerated.

Please note I reserve the right to change my prices and terms and conditions at any time but in accordance with UK law will inform you before the treatment commences.
