Frozen Flannels

A really useful tip for having a cool pack is take a cotton or bamboo flannel/washcloth, rinse and soak with cold water, wring it out and place in the freezer.

I used this when I was pregnant and for the birth as something to help me manage when I felt too hot. Because it is damp after wringing out it means you don't get water dripping. they feel soft rather than plastic but you can use it as a cool compress.

I stored mine in the freezer and took them out as needed.
